The School Day
Nursery:
The school day for morning Nursery will run from 8:30am until 11:30am.
Doors will open at 8:30am and entry is directly into nursery.
Afternoon Nursery will run from 12:15pm until 3:15pm and entry is directly into nursery.
There are options for both 15 hour and 30 hour places. There is an additional charge for any children who may stay for lunch outside of the 30 hour offer.
Reception and Key Stage One:
The school day for pupils in this phase begins at 8:40am and ends at 3:10pm (32.5 hours)
Doors will open at 8:40 am for all classes.
Entry and collection for Owl and Hedgehog Class (Reception), is through the white gate at the bottom of the steps. Jaguar and Tiger Class (Y1) will enter and be collected from their classroom doors. Hummingbird (Y2) will enter and be collected through the lower hall door and Pangolin Class (Y2) from their classroom door.
Pupils in Reception class will be asked to contribute weekly snack money. Children in KS1 will be provided with bagels/ fruit daily but are able to bring a healthy snack of their own to school.
The children will have a 15 minute break in the morning and 50 minutes for lunch.
Key Stage Two:
The school day for pupils in this phase begins at 8:40am and ends at 3:10pm (32.5 hours)
Doors will open at 8:40 am for all classes.
Entry and collection for pupils in Y5 and Y6 is through the rear entry door accessed from the main school playground. Entry and collection for pupils in Y3 and Y4 is through the KS2 door via the front playground.
The children will have a 15 minute break in the morning and 50 minutes for lunch.
Children are able to bring their own healthy snack in Y3-Y6 but will also be offered bagels and fruit
Breakfast Club provision is available from 7:45am daily, After school Club provision is available until 5.30pm daily. Please contact the school office for further information.
In line with government guidance, compulsory school hours of 32.5 hours per week are met.
