Shark - Y3 2017 - 2018

Mr Phillips

Welcome to Shark Class. We are a class of 25 lovely, hardworking and enthusiastic Year 3 children. Our teacher is Mr. Phillips and our teaching assistants within lower Key Stage 2 are Mrs A. Spooner and Miss E. Nelms. In our classroom we love to learn. We always try our best and are never afraid to make mistakes. We strive to learn each day, to build upon our active and creative minds. We always show effort to achieve our goals, respect one other and cooperate well with each other.

"Individually we are one drop, together we are the ocean."

We need to make sure that we are in school for 8:50am. We need to fit a lot of activities into our days, as school finishes at 3:10pm. We also need to make sure that we are wearing the correct uniform so that we are all looking very smart.

We need to remember to bring in our water bottles each day with our names clearly marked on them, or we can keep these in our amazing classroom. It's very important that we keep ourselves hydrated, especially after our PE sessions and in the summer.

We are given our homework on a Friday. We need to complete this and return it to our teacher by the following Wednesday. frown

Our library time each week is on Fridays. We need to take good care of any library books that we have and make sure that we don't lose these. indecision

Our PE times are on Mondays and Tuesdays. We need to bring in our PE kits on these day, but we should keep them in school each day incase we are given some extra PE time, or if the weekly timetable has to be changed for some reason. We need to take our kits home at the weekend to be washed. no

We are given our spellings on a Friday. We need to learn these for a test the following Thursday. In addition, we are making sure that we know all spellings from the list for Y3. smiley These can be found below - see KS2 Spelling Rules/ Lists
