The parent governors have met with Mr Cooper to share ideas reagrding how homework is used in school.

They have worked together to share ideas and decided to include additional questions for the whole parent body at the parent/teacher meetings last week.

Overall 59% of parents who responded strongly agree that their child receives appropriate homework for their age and an additional 34% agree with that statement.

The further questions asked indicate that most parents acknowledge that homework is a key part of their child's learning but feel that more consistency around content and organisation of homework would improve things further.

The governors will be working with school leaders to review and further develop the school homework policy.
