Final Gymnastics Session - Wolf Class

Date: 23rd May 2017 @ 2:24pm

Today was our final gymnastics session and it is great to see the progress the children have made over the term. Some children struggled to land on two feet at the beginning and now many of them can perform backward rolls landing on two feet.

Over the past few weeks Wolf class have learnt; how to perform a straddle and pike, how to travel in different ways, how to perform a backwards roll with and without apparatus, how to perform a shoulder stand, how to jump on and off off the vaults, how to do squat ones, how to use the spring board and how to land safely.

The children have developed good coordination, balance, teamwork, trust, stability, concentration, respect and strength. I hope the children continue to use these skills.

Well done Wolf Class!
