Egg hatching

Date: 9th Mar 2017 @ 2:55pm

Everyone has been so excited as 10 eggs arrived in Nursery. After just 2 days, we started to notice lots of wobbling and cracking! We enjoyed sitting and watching in anticipation for the chicks to arrive. We all got busy drawing and painting observations, writing a chick diary and making and counting play dough eggs.

The next day....CRACK! out popped a fluffy chick. We watched as he waited patiently for the other eggs to crack. Soon there were lots of fluffy chicks making lots of noise. They were all ready to be transferred from the incubator to the brooder. Once settled in their new home we gave them food and water and finally got to hold them. We are now thinking a a special name for each of our new friends!
