I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our parents and carers for their continued support over the last term. We have had many successes and the children have worked as hard as they possibly could day after day and are now beginning to see the positive results of their efforts. It is excellent to see them value the importance of learning and improved attendance is having a highly positive impact for some children.

Unfortunately, I have had to send a letter out to all parents tonight to emphasise the importance of how we all as adults conduct ourselves in front of not only our own but other children.

Myself and the governors are determined to ensure that all our children are not subjected to unacceptable behaviour from adults and we will take every step to safeguard our children which will include banning adults from school grounds if they do not behave in an acceptable manner.

On a brighter note, the children, as always, have been a credit to themselves and have enjoyed the Christmas activities that have taken place.

Whilst we acknowledge some organisational issues occured regarding the Panto, it was fantastic to hear from the children that they enjoyed the trip and that they felt it was a great success.

I wish you all a merry Christmas and happy New Year.
